@cecilofdesertbluffs asked me if i paired anyone with celestia and i had to rack my brain, 

ive always hc celestia as ace but i wanted to think hard about who i’d ship her with- then i remembered princess amore

and celestia’s tragic love story was formed

they were childhood friends, until princess amore became the princess of the crystal ponies where she became very busy with her work, but still

celestia and her would meet quietly during business dinners and exchange few gentle words

when sombra turned amore to crystal and broke her into pieces, scattering her across equestria- celestia was inconsolable 
after that, it was all downhill for celestia
-she began disappearing into the mirror world
-starswirl banished her from his studies
-luna becomes nightmare moon
-and then cut to sunset escaping celestia through the mirror

a lot of ponies have left, or have been forced to, leave celestia behind 

now sombra is reformed, travelling equestria trying to find all of amore’s pieces to restore her once again

i wonder what their reunion would be like?
